The Emeraldas V LT makes its mark on the scene with a stunning double handle with EVA knobs. The V edition makes LT performance more accessible to squid anglers. Available in 2500 and 3000 sizes, it boasts the latest Daiwa technologies: ATD drag, Air Rotor and MagSealed oil. With the Emeraldas V LT, you will feel the effects of precision-engineered quality. Smooth rotation is guaranteed by the ergonomic arc rotor. Toughness is everywhere you look: the wide, hollow bail arm in duraluminium, the Tough Digigear drive gear, the ATD drag smoothed with high-tech lubricant and replete with a full-size locking button, and the double handle with EVA fighting grips. The body is totally sealed thanks to MagSealed technology, which creates a magnetic field to guarantee smoothness all the while blocking intrusion from exterior elements. The youngest in the Emeraldas range makes no compromises when it comes to quality and performance.

Daiwa engineers have sought to eliminate unnecessarily heavy components and shapes without compromising on the toughness or the capacity of the spool. This totally new compact design with a more powerful Digigear gives our LT reels an unrivalled weight to power ratio.
ZAION and DS5
ZAION and DS5 are extremely tough materials which benefit from Daiwa’s own carbon technology. These carbon components make the reel lighter yet tougher than standard graphite. 100% resistant to corrosion even in saltwater environments. Light, tough and durable: these are the best build materials for our reels.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR
Inspired by the Digigear, this tougher brother has been optimised in all respects: diameter, thickness, shape and size of the teeth. We have trialled and tested each detail in turn and refined the elements with surgical precision.
The result is pure technical prowess in terms of toughness.
ALUMINIUM AIR SPOOL
We have re-designed the shape, size and thickness of this spool to produce an ultra-light version way ahead of its predecessors. Even lighter than our current ABS Air Spool, which fine-tunes the balance of the reel.
ULTRA POWERFUL DRAG
We’ve brought together multiple improvements down to the very finest detail of the spool build, the shaft, the discs, and the braking surface to maximise the benefits of ATD.

HANDLE
We have retooled the handle to bring it into line with the main objective of strength and fishing durability. The new design contributes to the lightness of the reel.
