Daiwa Crosscast

This name offers a wider range of models boasting Fuji guides. The Kayak is a one-piece rod that's ideal for bass fishing from a kayak. The Steady Water is excellent for finer work. The Tight Line has all classic light lure work covered. The Hard Game models are incredibly versatile - they can be used for plugs but are supple enough to use with soft lures with 7-21g heads. The Rocky Shores can be used for casting either hard lures or jigs. The Shad Game and Vertical Game will stand up to shad fishing in strong currents and deep water.

Features:

  • High modulus carbon
  • Put-over joints
  • Fuji Concept O Guides
  • Daiwa exclusive ergonomic reel seat
  • High density EVA handle
  • Progressive tip action for the MHFS, pronounced tip action on the HFS, and powerful tip action on the XHFS

Haut Module

High modulus carbon fibres form a sheet coated with resin, with all excess removed.

Micro Pitch:

A micropigment finish is hot sprayed during the wrapping of carbon sheets. This removes the need for varnish, offering less weight and more sensitivity

Exclusive Reel Seat:

Daiwa’s engineering department has developed Daiwa-exclusive reel seats which fuse innovation with Fuji® elements.

FUJI O Guides

Fuji O Ring guides boast an aluminium oxide ring and a modernised frame – lighter still than the previous generation

FUJI

The FUJI logo is linked to a Daiwa rod featuring at least one FUJI element, whether it’s a reel seat or guide.

FUJI KOGYO CO., LTD was founded on 20 January 1945 in Japan and is the world’s leading rod component manufacturer. Daiwa and Fuji have been collaborating as Japanese manufacturers for decades. FUJI has the technical engineering know-how to respond to the increasingly high demands of anglers for improvements in their tackle. In this respect the company is on the same wavelength as Daiwa in terms of putting innovation at the service of the angler.

This is the story behind the FUJI guides, reel seats, rings and other components that you’ll find on numerous Daiwa rod ranges around the world.
