Yamashita Egi OH Live Search
Yamashita takes another revolutionary step in squid lure fishing by discovering the sound frequency that attracts the squid the most!
The Yamashita LIVE SEARCH squid jigs feature a number of unique features but what sets this jig apart is the 600 hz rattle inside the body. Yamashita have discovered after much research with a leading Japanese University that squid can pick up sounds between 400hz and 1400hz with 600hz being the optimum level for squid to be most interested. The 490 GlOW and Warm Jacket - thermo storage cloth will transfer any light into heat for a more natural appeal. Double crown hooks - stainless steel hooks as well as Slim Nose design that Yamashita has a patent on the slim nose design on the LIVE jigs. This slim nose helps impart a sharp darting action (more action with less effort from the angler).
Shallow Type:
The most important matter required of shallow is slow fall speed
A slow type of falling speed made to attack shallow. Fall speed is 5.5 - 6 sec / m when you capture a high activity squid that is moving to the shallow to slow tempo.
Slow tempo in deep area
If you hear "shallow", there may be an image with limited use in "shallow", but the difference in fall speed in search can be called "shallow = slow tempo", search for squid with high activity. It also plays a role of changing the "tempo of fishing". Also, I'd like you to search squid with a variety of approaches by changing the fishing tempo regardless of the fishing spot, such as aiming for slow tempo even in relatively watery areas.
Blue eyes and blue feathers which are proof of shallow type.

600Hz Sound:
To achieve the 600hz Yamashita needed to change the plastic body material to a bone plastic material and use stainless steel bearings (not glass or plastic). This combination results in a high pitch rattle that no other jig on the market can replicate.
490 GLOW:
490 GLOW was developed by Yamashita after research showed the best wavelength of visible light for squid is 490nm. 490 GLOW stickers are attached to the LIVE search so it now incorporates the best sound for squid, the best light for squid, the warm jacket and the easiest darting action for the angler.
