Kuroshio, stands for �Black Tide� in Japanese, this name is given to the spring current which starts off the east coast of Taiwan and flows up past the coast of Japan and on into the Pacific. Black Tide brings the first run of spring bait-fish which are fiercely pursued by larger predatory fish. The Kuroshio is a star attraction and is eagerly awaited by Japanese lure anglers.
